Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work Virtual Workshop
The “Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work” Workshop is based on the bestselling book by Dr. John Gottman. Based on decades of research, this psychoeducational workshop will help couples learn skills to communicate better, manage conflict more effectively, and feel closer than ever.
This workshop is psychoeducational in nature, and is geared toward couples who have mild distress or dysfunction in their relationship but do not rise to the level of needing intensive couples therapy. This workshop is NOT appropriate for those in severe relationship distress, those in abusive relationships, or those with severe untreated mental health or substance abuse issues. If you have any questions about whether or not a couple would be appropriate for this workshop, feel free to reach out to me!
This workshop is intended to bridge the gap in care for couples that need a little extra help but are not able to or willing to attend couples therapy, or those who just need a little "tune-up". This is open to therapists and their partners as well as clients and friends! Personal information will not be shared in front of the whole group, only in Zoom breakout rooms between each couple.
There is an early bird discount of $50 off if you register before October 15, 2024. Payment plans are also available.
Please reach out or visit the website www.couplestherapybuffalo.com/seven-principles-workshop for more information or to register!

Moms Meet Up by Aleni Katsinis: Rooted In Sleep
Come meet new mom friends, enjoy coffee and snacks, learn about normal infant sleep and development from a certified infant sleep specialist, followed by a Q&A. Our special guest is Dr. Shayla Cooper from Growing Families Chiropractic. "Hi there! I am Dr. Shayla Cooper, Chiropractor and owner of Growing Families Chiropractic. I have a passion for all things childbirth, supporting pregnant and postpartum moms, and educating families on healthy living. I specialize in chiropractic care for pregnant women and children and am Webster Certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. My path to chiropractic began when I was 12. I grew up a competitive dancer and began having debilitating hip pain that led me to medication, physical therapy, bilateral crutches, and sitting out of activities. After one year of a painful journey, I found chiropractic and it completely changed my life. I am a mom to two littles, wife, follower of Jesus, and foodie. I believe chiropractic should be the first step in healthy and pain-free living; and that your nervous system controls all other systems of the body. Without a balanced nervous system - pain, illness, and dysfunction occur."
